Aurora Circuits Seeks IATF 16949-2016 Certification

Aurora Il: Dr. Chris Kalmus, owner, and President of Aurora Circuits recently that his company has started the process to earn their IATF 16949-2016 Certification. When making the announcement, Dr. Kalmus had this to say. “Although we have been serving automotive customers for years, especially with our special technology thermal products such as heavy copper (over 20 Oz.) and Pedestal technology it has become evident to our team that we need to have this certification. Particularly at this time when our automotive business is scaling up significantly. We look forward to being fully certified by the end of Q3 2023.”

About IATF 16949:

IATF 16949 is a global Quality Management System Standard for the Automotive industry. IATF 16949:2016 incorporates the structure and requirements of the ISO

9001:2015 quality management system standard with additional automotive customer-specific requirements. It was developed by the International Automotive Task

Force (IATF), with support from AIAG. This standard requires certification by a 3rd party auditor (Registrar/CB/Certification Body). Here are some key areas of focus:
